SOLICITOR GENERAL CUTS SHORT CAREER WITH GOVERNMENT

While attempts by News Five to reach Herwanger for comment were unsuccessful, our sources indicate that the SolGen made her decision following the public flogging by Prime Minister Dean Barrow about her written comments relating to the case of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Chester Williams. Barrow’s ire was reportedly raised because Herwanger claimed that two cabinet ministers had influenced the transfer process. We understand that the effective date of the SolGen’s resignation is the end of the month.
