PHILADELPHIA CREAM CHEESE LEMON PIE

PHILADELPHIA CREAM CHEESE LEMON PIE
FOR THE CRUST
4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled, plus more for pan
1-1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar

FOR THE FILLING
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
1 pk (8 oz) Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice (3 lemons)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

FOR TOPPINGS (OPTIONAL)
Sliced bananas
And/Or Whipped Cream

How to make the CRUST:
Melt butter on stove.
Add sugar and cinnamon and stir until mixed then remove from heat.
Add mixture to graham crackers crumbs and stir in well.
Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan.


TO MAKE THE FILLING
*In a large bowl, place condensed milk.
*Add lemon juice and whisk until smooth. Add vanilla and mix well.
*Pour filling into crust; carefully spread to edges.
*Top the pie with slices of banana and sprinkle some of the crust mix (Optional)
*Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
Serve with whipped cream (optional)
