Ham and Broccoli Casserole RECIPE FOR TODAY

Ham and Broccoli Casserole

12 oz. pkg. chopped broccoli, thawed
1/2 C. chopped onion
10.5 oz. can cheddar cheese soup
10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
2 C. water
2/3 C. half & half
1 3/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. garlic sea salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 C. jasmine rice (uncooked)
2 C. chopped ham
1/2 C. french fried onions

In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, onion, both soups, water, half & half, 1 C. of the cheese, seasonings, rice and ham. Stir to combine well. Pour into a lightly greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover tightly with tinfoil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Uncover and top with the remaining cheese and french fried onions. Return, uncovered, to the oven for 5-6 minutes to melt the cheese and lightly brown the onions.
