SOLICITOR GENERAL CUTS SHORT CAREER WITH GOVERNMENT

She has had a bumpy ride since her appointment as Solicitor General but reports reaching News Five is that Tanya Longsworth Herwanger has thrown in the towel and resigned from her post. While attempts by News Five to reach Herwanger for comment were unsuccessful, our sources indicate that the SolGen made her decision following the public flogging by Prime Minister Dean Barrow about her written comments relating to the case of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Chester Williams. Barrow’s ire was reportedly raised because Herwanger claimed that two cabinet ministers had influenced the transfer process. We understand that the effective date of the SolGen’s resignation is the end of the month.

HATS OFF TO TANYA FOR DECIDING THAT SHE DID NOT NEED TO BE A PART OF THE BULLYING PROCESS THAT SEEMS TO COME FROM THIS NEW PRIME MINISTER. SIR, I THINK IT IS TIKME YOU STOP BELITTLING PEOPLE AND START BEING A RESPECTFUL PRIME MINISTER.
AS TO MRS. LONGSWORTH HERWANGER, YOU HAVE OUR CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF YOUR MOTHER. SHE WAS OE OF COROZAL'S FINEST LADIES. WE WILL REMEMBER HER FOR HER KINDNESS AND HER SMILE. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
