As we went about enjoying today, we must have had some thought as to what the tenth is all about. History tells us to believe in a people who would not be captured and who defended their right to be here.
I feel we have lost that sense of patriotism and belief in our country. So few of us will do nothing. So few of us will appreciate this land. So few of us are really TRUE BELIZEAN.
Well, maybe there is still hope for us. Maybe we can still do the right thing for this land and maybe we can still find in our hearts the feeling of patriotism.
HAPPY TENTH OF SEPTEMBER. LONG LIVE BELIZE! LONG LIVE THE BELIZEAN DREAM AND THE BELIZEAN PEOPLE.

I am not Belizean, but I have made so many wonderful friends in Belize that I feel Belizean.
That is the way Belize treats people. Feel free to be Belizean or a friend of Belize.
