THE DAY BEFORE THE DAY

It is Saturday, Sept 20 and I am sitting in front of my computer in Mexico thinking about what went on today in Belize and what will happen tomorrow. Once again it is the anniversary of the independence of Belize and once again there was a carnival today. Like many Belizean who remember the tenth of years gone by, I look forward to a revival of those wonderful times but I don't belive they will come again. Anyway, there will still be many to march and the parade of the 21st should go as it has for years now, with all the dignity Belizeans have given it.

With pride I look at the the past and I cherish what we had and I look to the future and I yearn for better.

Belizeans, you have the power to move the mountain. You have the power to be patriotic. You have the power to be BELIZEAN!

join hands and march for BELIZE. March for PEACE and march for FREEDOM. Remember that life is but a reflection of the persons who have made things happen.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BELIZE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LAND OF THE FREE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND GOD BLESS ALL MY BELIZEANS SISTERS AND BROTHERS.

TO MAY STUDENTS AT COROZAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE ACE AND COROZAL JUNIOR COLLEGE ACE, HAVE A WONDERFUL 21ST SEPTEMBER. ENJOY THE CELEBRATIONS AND THE HOLIDAY.

It i only fitting that today I received a parcel from the International Society of Poetry with my 2007 award for outstanding achievement in poetry. Thanks goes out to all those who have helped me to think and to be poetic. later this week I will take a picture and place it on the blog so you can see me and the award.
