GRADUATION 2009

ONCE Again it is time for the Belizean youth to shine, if only for a few hours. You may ask why only for a few hours. Well, once again it is going to be the same story. People are going to go out after a graduation ceremony with their hearts in their hands and they will go in search of jobs that aren´t there. I still see some graduates of two years ago that are jobless. I doubt very much that there will be a change in things. As I write, the cost of petroleum in Belize has gone up again and with it the cost of butane gas. So many shop keepers are complaining that their shops aren´t selling as much FOOD as they should. What does all this mean? That we are in for a long run on economical disaster. To those who have jobs, hold on to them because like we have heard for some time now THINGS HAAD OUT YA. IF the truth be told, we are no where near seeing anything better happening in Belize. Nothing can change the flow of things. No promise, no change. We just have to go as we are. Do what we can and try to keep afloat. Better, well, I don´t know, if it can come but we have to keep the struggle going.NO ONE CAN DO IT FOR US. WE HAVE TO DO FOR OURSELVES.
