ORANGE AND CONDENSED MILK FLAN (PUDDING) RECIPE FOR TODAY
ORANGE AND CONDENSED MILK FLAN (PUDDING)
Ingredients:
6 eggs
350 ml. orange juice
200 ml. condensed milk (in my case light)
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
2 dessert teaspoons of not too packed Cornstarch
1 Package of liquid carmel
or if homemade you will need For Carmel topping:
75g sugar
2 tablespoons water
Preparation:
For the Caramel:
Place two tablespoons of water and sugar for caramel in a saucepan. Take it to the fire. When the sugar is bubbly and becomes a golden color, remove from heat and pour into the mold in which you will prepare this flan. Be very careful not to burn the sugar and water because it will bitter rather than sweeten. Move the mold to distribute carmel mixture well throughout the base. You can caramelize the walls if you wish.
For the Flan:
We squeeze oranges and strain the juice to remove any remaining pulp or seeds.
In a large bowl, add all ingredients except ingredients for carmel and beat with mixer until everything is fully integrated.
Prepare a mold by placing caramelized mixture on walls and the bottom of mold.
Pour in flan mixture.
Insert the flan mold in a larger bowl and add hot water to the latter, with an amount at least reaching one third of the flan mold.
In a preheated 180 ° C (356º F) oven, with heat above and below .., introduce the containers in the lower position from the middle and leave it for about 1 hour,
Check by inserting a skewer in the center of the flan. If it is done it comes out completely clean.
