SHRIMP AND MUSHROOM PASTA
1/2 pound shrimp
1 small package spaghetti (you can also use white rice)
1 1/2 cup cream
1/2 onion cut into slices
3 garlic (chopped)
1 large tomato sliced and then slices cut in half
1/4 cup white wine
Dash of pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
Mushrooms to taste, sliced.
Heat the oil in a nonstick pan, add the garlic and when they start to brown, add the shrimp which is cleaned, peeled and deveined.
When shrimps get pink, take out of the pan and reserve.
In the same oil, add the onion and saute until translucent, and then add the tomato and cook.
When all is well parboiled, you add the mushrooms, and continue cooking for about two minutes.
Add the cream, wine, salt and a pinch of pepper.
As it starts to boil, add the shrimp back into the pan and mix .
Serve immediately over steamed rice or spaghetti.
