Tasty Pork Chop Marinade
Ingredients
Makes: 6 pork chops
60ml lemon juice
60ml honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon water
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tablespoon mixed herbs
1 pinch salt (optional but great taste)
6 pork chops
Method
Prep:10min › Cook:20min › Extra time:4hr marinating › Ready in:4hr30min
Put lemon juice and honey in a mixing bowl and stir together. Add soy sauce and water and continue to mix.
After fairly blended together transfer mixture to a freezer bag.
When in freezer bag add garlic, mixed herbs and salt. Give the bag a shake and add each pork chop into the bag.
The bag should look quite full and all pork chops should be fairly covered in the marinade. Once satisfied, seal the bag and place in container to rest in the fridge for 1 to 10 hours. I usually leave it for 4 hours.
Preheat the oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
Take chops out of fridge and place onto baking pan lined with aluminium foil. When all the pork chops are placed on pan, pour the remaining marinade over the chops and wrap another sheet of foil over the top to seal the pork chops in like a parcel.
Bake until no longer pink at the centre, 17 to 20 minutes. Serve for effortless tasty, moist pork chops!

You can make it healthier by using fresh lemon, low salt soy sauce and take out the extra salt.
