1 1/2 cups hot water
1/4 cup masa harina (Maseca flour)
3 cups milk
1 to 1 1/2 tablets (90 g each) NESTLÉ Abuelita Chocolate
PLACING hot water and masa harina in a large pot and mix until smooth. Add milk and Abuelita chocolate. Heat it over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling. Reduce heat to low; cooking, stirring constantly for 1 to 3 minutes or until thickened to your liking. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. Serve immediately.
TIPS: I could add anise and cloves for flavor to Champurrado and then remove them before serving. You can also strain the Champurrado if you want to make it softer.
