Pineapple Cake with Chocolate
Ingredients for the cake:
150 g Sugar
200 g flour
100 g Cocoa Powder Pure Value
A little bit of salt
A pinch of vanilla powder
A teaspoon of baking powder
ingredients for chocolate cream:
100 g Chocolate Coverage Value
Sugar 100 g
ingredients for decoration and filling:
A glass of Kirsches (a colorless liquor made from distilled juice of wild cherries)
A can of pineapple in syrup
400 g of whipped cream
Whisk in a bowl the egg yolks with 4 tablespoons of warm water and sugar until fluffy dough.
Add the vanilla, flour, Cocoa Powder Pure Value and yeast.
Mix all the ingredients well.
After obtaining a homogeneous mass, pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
Let cool and remove from baking pan.
Place a container in a hot water to melt the chocolate coating.
When you remove the chocolate from the heat, add the sugar and melted butter and mix well until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
Cut the cake in half (horizontally), sprinkle the base and edges with kirsch and cover the base with some chocolate cream and half the cream.
Cover over a layer of sliced pineapple and other cream and cover with the other part of the cake.
Finally, we cover the entire cake with chocolate cream with a spatula and just decorate with chocolate or cream rosettes and slices of pineapple.
